Born in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, Dusty Genard discovered his passion for art at a very young age. He developed a talent for creating haunted houses which quenched his story-telling mind and gave him insight into a new form of artistic expression. Dusty attended film school and it was here that he realized the potential for expressing emotion through created environments and worlds. Dusty's background in film, painting and sculpting have lead him to his most current body of work, miniature assemblages. These sculpted environments portray an emotion caught in time, something familiar, something haunting.

Dusty currently resides in Portland, Oregon where he continues to create his sculpted worlds.
